M: Good morning. Welcome to biology 201. My name is Michel Afree, and I’m professor Jackson’s teaching assistant. Today, I’m gonna help you with questions and answers about the first chapter in your book, which professor Jackson assigned you in your first class. Yes?
W: Hi, excuse me. I’m not really sure I’m in the right class.
M: Were you here for Tuesday’s class?
W: No, sorry, I wasn’t. I just transferred here and it took a wild to get the classes I needed.
M: Are you a biology major?
W: Yes, as a matter of fact, I am. Here is my registration form.
M: Okay, you have to make sure you see professor Jackson, so that you can add it to his roster.
W: Ah, ok, you mean you are not the professor?
M: No. I’m his teaching assistant. Today we’ll review in the first assignment. So, it’s probably not worth your time to sit on this class. You might wanna go get the books and spend some time catching up. Just make sure you read chapters 1 & 2 before professor Jackson’s next lecture.
W: You are probably right. I guess I’ll go do that now. Thanks for your help.
M: You are welcome. See you next week.
