Patriot Day

I watched the awful view about 9/11 on TV when I was a university student in junior.

In the US, 9/11 is a national memorial day.
And this day is called "Patriot Day".
Patriot Day.
This has lots of implications beyond just praying peace in the world, I suppose.

During my LA visit last month, I saw many American national flags everywhere.
Street, shoping mall, neighborhood and so forth.
I reflected the meaning of this tragedy for America and for other countries.

9/11 is a tragedy.
However, this tragedy is not only for America but for others including Japan, I believe.
This is not so much a "natinal" tragedy as a "world" one.
This is a tragedy for the people who lives in Mideast as well as for American.
