W: How many courses are you taking, Robert?
M: About five. This is actually going to be one of my hardest semesters. One of my courses is worth five credits, three of the others are four credit courses.
W: Its sounds like an over loaded schedule to me! So, how many credits over all? Eighteen?
M: Nineteen. I have a two-credit practicum this semester.
W: Woo. I don’t envy your schedule. I have seventeen credits, and that’s plenty for me to do with.
M: Yes. And top of all off, I have to do three ten to fifteen page papers for the two of the classes. I don’t know how I’m going to get through the semester in one piece (?).
W: Have you considered dropping one of those four credit classes to give yourself some time, actually, do all that work? I mean, what’s the point of taking all those classes if you don’t do well in them. You’d only end up having to take the class over again or something.
M: Yeah, you’re right. But I gave up my job this semester just I won’t have to do a course in the summer. I’m planning to study abroad. And I want to stay on track.
W: You are really ambitious.
M: I just have to keep my ノウス to the grain stone and not get to destructed by all the fun things going on during the semester (?). I hope it what I work out (?).
W: Keep me posted (?). But try to have some fun, won’t you? You know what they say about, “all work and no play.”
